Privacy Policy

Effective September 25, 2026. Last updated September 26, 2026.

This privacy policy explains what information VirtualMailboxBusiness.com collects from visitors, where it goes, what rights visitors have over it and how any future analytics or advertising will be disclosed. VirtualMailboxBusiness.com is operated by Cedrick Reese as part of the ReadyUtilities.com network.

Information collected at launch

VirtualMailboxBusiness.com does not use accounts and does not require a visitor to sign up or log in. The cost calculator and other tools on the site run entirely in the browser: the numbers a visitor enters are used to compute a result on that page and are never sent to a server.

The theme setting is not a cookie, and it is created only when a visitor presses the toggle. The site's fonts are served from its own web host, so loading a page sends nothing to Google Fonts or any other font service.

Contact form

This site has no email address of its own. Messages sent through Contact are submitted over an encrypted connection to the ReadyUtilities.com contact form handler, which VirtualMailboxBusiness.com uses as part of the ReadyUtilities.com network. That submission includes the site name, the sender's name, email address, subject and message. It is used only to reply to the sender and to keep a record of that conversation, and it is not added to any mailing list. The form also contains a hidden field that helps filter out automated spam; it collects nothing about the visitor.

The form asks visitors not to include account numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive personal information, and messages containing that kind of information should not be sent.

Analytics, ads and cookies

No analytics, no advertising and no cookies are active on VirtualMailboxBusiness.com at launch. These may be added at a future date to help support the site. Before any of them go live, this policy will be updated to name each specific service, the cookies it sets and how to opt out, and a consent banner will be added for visitors in places where consent is required before non-essential cookies are set. See the site's disclosure policy for how affiliate links, if added later, will be labeled.

Sale and sharing of personal information

VirtualMailboxBusiness.com does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are used in California privacy law. It does not use visitor information for targeted advertising or profiling. Because nothing is sold or shared, the site has no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link; if that ever changes, the link will be added and browser opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control will be honored as an opt-out request.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where a visitor lives, privacy laws may give that visitor the right to:

  • know what personal information the site holds about them and get a copy of it
  • have that information corrected or deleted
  • opt out of any sale, sharing or targeted advertising use of it
  • object to or restrict how it is used, and withdraw consent where consent was the basis for using it
  • not be treated differently for using any of these rights

These rights come from laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, other US state privacy laws, and the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation. Some of these laws may not apply to a site of this size, but VirtualMailboxBusiness.com will act on a request from any visitor. In practice, the only personal information the site itself holds is what a visitor sends through the contact form.

To make a request, send a message through Contact, choose "Other" as the subject and start the message with "Privacy request." Use the same email address as the original message so the request can be matched to it. Requests are answered within one month. A visitor in the EU or UK also has the right to complain to their local data protection authority.

For visitors in the EU or UK, contact form messages are handled on the basis of the visitor's request, since the information is needed to reply, and the site's legitimate interest in keeping a record of that conversation. Server logs are kept on the basis of the legitimate interest in running and securing the site. Contact form messages may be processed in the United States.

Pages on this site link to virtual mailbox providers, government agencies and other sources. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and VirtualMailboxBusiness.com does not control what they collect once a visitor follows a link.

Security

The site is set up to be served over HTTPS, and the contact form sends messages to its handler over an encrypted connection. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so the site keeps what it collects to the minimum described on this page.

Children's privacy

VirtualMailboxBusiness.com is not directed at children under 13, and the site does not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent information through the contact form can ask for it to be deleted through Contact.

Your choices

A visitor can clear the saved theme preference at any time by clearing the site's data or localStorage in their browser's settings, which resets the toggle to follow the operating system's light or dark setting. Browser settings can also be used to block or clear cookies and to control how fonts and other resources load. See the terms that apply to this information for how the site's content itself may be used.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time, and it will be updated before any analytics, advertising or affiliate program goes live. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

Contact

Questions about this privacy policy, and privacy requests, can be sent through Contact.
